Index of NSE closes the week positive as Index rises 0.04%

The Nigerian bourse ended the week on Friday on a positive note with which it started as the All-Share Index of The Exchange and the Market Capitalization increased by 0.04 per cent , while the year-to-date return stood at 23.77 per cent.
The All-Share Index closed at 33,261.66 against the previous close of 33,246.91 while Market Capitalization closed at ₦11.464 trillion against previous close of ₦11.459 trillion.
Volume traded increased by 7.88 per cent from 288.858 million to 311.609 million, while the total value of stock traded decreased by 14.38 per cent from ₦3.820 billion to ₦3.271 billion in 3,113 deals.
The Financial Services sector led the activity chart with 282.504 million shares exchanged for ₦2.06 billion. Industrial Goods came next with 10.851 million shares traded for ₦0.943 billion, Conglomerates, Oil And Gas, Consumer Goods sectors followed in that order on the activity chart.
UBA, Diamondbnk, FBNH, Nigerins and Zenithbank were the most active stocks by volume. Unitybnk, UBN, FO, Betaglas and Fidson emerged the highest price gainers on the chart, while Oando, Linkassure, Conoil, Jaizbank and Cileasing topped the losers chart.
