Market opens the week positive as investors gain N13bn

The Nigerian Stock Exchange All-Share Index (NSE ASI) and the Market Capitalization increased by 0.12 per cent, while the year-to-date return stood at 23.91 per cent.
The All Share Index closed at 33,301.43 against the previous close of 33,261.66 while Market Capitalization closed at ₦11.477 trillion against previous close of ₦11.464 trillion.
Volume traded increased by 3.60 per cent from 311.609 million to 322.814 million, while the total value of stock traded decreased by 16.40 per cent from ₦3.271 billion to ₦2.734 billion in 3,830 deals.
The Financial Services sector led the activity chart with 279.979 million shares exchanged for ₦1.19 billion. Consumer Goods came next with 21.259 million shares traded for ₦0.826 billion, Conglomerates, Agriculture, Oil and Gas sectors followed in that order on the activity chart.
Nigerins, FBNH, FCMB, UBA and Flourmill were the most active stocks by volume. Unilever, FO, 7UP, Champion and Flourmill emerged the highest price gainers on the chart, while Oando, NASCON, AIICO, Skyebank and Maybaker topped the losers chart.
