Saraki, Dogara receive President’s resumption letter

The Senate President, Senator Bukola Saraki and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon Yakubu Dogara, have confirmed receipt of a letter from President Muhammadu Buhari informing the Senate and the House of his resumption.
Saraki said: “I have received a letter from President Muhammadu Buhari informing the Senate that he has returned to the country. I have also acknowledged the letter,” he wrote.
Similarly, Dogara acknowledged the receipt of the communication from President Muhammadu Buhari notifying the House of Representatives of his resumption to duty.
The letter was delivered to the office of the Rt. Hon Speaker by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters (House of Reps), Hon Suleiman Abdurahman Kawu Sumaila, on Monday.
Buhari, who spent over 100-days in London treating an undisclosed illness returned to the country on Sunday.
