Nigerian bourse adds 0.03% as investors gain N4bn on Friday

The Nigerian Stock Exchange All-Share Index (NSE ASI) and the Market Capitalization increased by 0.03 per cent, while the year-to-date return stood at 31.87 per cent.
The All-Share Index closed at 35,439.98 against the previous close of 35,429.31 while Market Capitalization closed at ₦12.217 trillion against previous close of ₦12.213 trillion.
Volume traded decreased by 31.88 per cent from 346.215 million to 235.825 million, while the total value of stock traded decreased by 4.07 per cent from ₦3.996 billion to ₦3.833 billion in 2,809 deals.
The Financial Services sector led the activity chart with 200.444 million shares exchanged for ₦2.777 billion. Consumer Goods came next with 13.872 million shares traded for ₦0.761 billion, Conglomerates, Services, Industrial Goods sectors followed in that order on the activity chart.
UBA, Guaranty, Access, Zenithbank and Sterlnbank were the most active stocks by volume. Cileasing, Sterlnbank, Transcorp, Caverton and Skyebank emerged the highest price gainers on the chart, while Aglevent, UAC-PROP, Learnafrca, Guinness and Vitafoam topped the losers chart.
