Nigerian bourse manages 0.01% gain on Thursday

The bull managed to fight back on the Nigerian Stock Exchange on Thursday as the market All-Share Index (NSE ASI) and the Market Capitalization increased by 0.01 per cent, while the year-to-date return stood at 36.36 per cent.
The All-Share Index closed at 36,645.65 against the previous close of 36,641.52 while Market Capitalization closed at ₦12.614 trillion against previous close of ₦12.613 trillion.
Volume traded decreased by 29.08 per cent from 198.635 million to 140.877 million, while the total value of stock traded decreased by 41.33 per cent from ₦2.936 billion to ₦1.723 billion in 4,159 deals.
As usualthe Financial Services sector led the activity chart with 123.801 million shares exchanged for ₦1.457 billion. Conglomerates came next with 7.532 million shares traded for ₦0.012 billion, Consumer Goods, Healthcare, Industrial Goods sectors followed in that order on the activity chart.
UBA, Sterlnbank, Guaranty, Zenithbank and Skyebank were the most active stocks by volume. Cutix, Intbrew, Fidson, Bocgas and NEM emerged the highest price gainers on the chart, while Mansard, Cileasing, Fidelitybk, Linkassure and FO topped the losers chart.
