Nigerian bourse down 0.29% on Thursday

The Nigerian Stock Exchange All-Share Index (NSE ASI) and the Market Capitalization decreased by 0.29 per cent, while the year-to-date return stood at 35.88 per cent on Thursday.

The All-Share Index closed at 36,517.48 against the previous close of 36,622.85 while Market Capitalization closed at ₦12.639 trillion against previous close of ₦12.675 trillion.

Volume traded increased by 7.15% from 332.996 million to 356.808 million, while the total value of stock traded decreased by 9.37% from ₦4.661 billion to ₦4.224 billion in 4,384 deals.

The Financial Services sector led the activity chart with 299.929 million shares exchanged for ₦2.564 billion. Consumer Goods came next with 27.104 million shares traded for ₦1.14 billion, Conglomerates, Agriculture, Services sectors followed in that order on the activity chart.

UBA, Fidelitybk, Custodyins, FCMB and Access were the most active stocks by volume.

Nascon, Dangflour, Dangsugar, Mcnichols and Cadbury emerged the highest price gainers on the chart, while Nem, FO, Intbrew, Jaizbank and Maybaker topped the losers chart.
