Equities records N20bn addition

The Nigerian Stock Exchange All Share Index (NSE ASI) and the Market Capitalization increased by 0.24 per cent, translating to N20 billion value addition, while the Year-to-Date return stood at -13.33 per cent.
The All Share Index closed at 24,823.86 against the previous close of 24,765.10 while Market Capitalization closed at ₦8.539 trillion against previous close of ₦8.519 trillion.
Volume traded increased by 46.64 per cent from 144.680 million on Monday to 212.152 million on Tuesday, while the total value of stock traded increased by 96.25 per cent from ₦0.766 billion to ₦1.503 billion in 3,240 deals.
The Financial Services sector led the activity chart with 184.748 million shares exchanged for ₦0.986 billion. Consumer Goods came next with 9.249 million shares traded for ₦0.19 billion, Agriculture, Conglomerates, Oil And Gas sectors followed in that order on the activity chart.
Access, FBNH, Zenithbank, UBA and FCMB were the most active stocks by volume. Cutix, Honyflour, Aglevent, Mansard and Transexpr emerged the highest price gainers on the chart, while Berger, Airservice, Stanbic, Guinness and UBA topped the losers chart.
