The Nigerian Stock Exchange All Share Index (NSE ASI) and the Market Capitalization decreased by 0.06%, while the Year-to-Date return stood at -13.38%.
The All Share Index closed at 24,809.29 against the previous close of 24,823.86 while Market Capitalization closed at ₦8.534 trillion against previous close of ₦8.539 trillion.
Volume traded increased by 34.50 per cent from 212.152 million to 285.341 million, while the total value of stock traded decreased by 10.32 f per centrom ₦1.503 billion to ₦1.348 billion in 3,083 deals.
The Financial Services sector led the activity chart with 259.956 million shares exchanged for ₦1.023 billion. Consumer Goods came next with 6.461 million shares traded for ₦0.177 billion, Conglomerates, Oil And Gas, Agriculture sectors followed in that order on the activity chart.
Access, FBNH, UBA, Wemabank and FCMB were the most active stocks by volume. FBNH, Unilever, Diamondbank, Honyflour and Eterna emerged the highest price gainers on the chart, while Glaxosmith, UAC-PROP, FO, NAHCO and Total topped the losers chart.
