The bull fights back with 0.60% gain

The Nigerian Stock Exchange All Share Index (NSE ASI) and the Market Capitalization increased by 0.60%, while the Year-to-Date return stood at -12.87%.
The All Share Index closed at 24,957.08 against the previous close of 24,809.29 while Market Capitalization closed at ₦8.585 trillion against Wednesday close of ₦8.534 trillion.
Volume traded increased by 18.57 per cent from 285.341 million to 338.338 million, while the total value of stock traded increased by 48.01 per cent from ₦1.348 billion to ₦1.995 billion in 3,428 deals.
The Financial Services sector led the activity chart with 302.607 million shares exchanged for ₦1.278 billion. Conglomerates came next with 12.295 million shares traded for ₦0.018 billion, Consumer Goods, Oil And Gas, Agriculture sectors followed in that order on the activity chart.
FBNH, Access, UBA, Guaranty and Fidelitybk were the most active stocks by volume. Total, Wemabank, Flourmill, NASCON and Neimeth emerged the highest price gainers on the chart, while Maybaker, FO, Wapco, Airservice and Sterlnbank topped the losers chart.

  • I usualy love cold steel knives. This katana arrived a bit sub standard. There are rust spots about 2 inches long on the face of the blade. Also on the spine at about the center point on the blade there is a 3 inch rust spot. Most of the length of the blade was dull except for the tip. It appears as if the katana had been stored for a very long time or handled much before it was sold to me. I will however keep it and attempt to buff out the rust then sharpen.
