Customs lack data of factories, industries in Nigeria
Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), has no authentic statistics of the industries and factories operating in the country due to the past government policies.
It was learnt that government policy had de-excising industry in the country.
Miffed by this, the Comptroller General of the service, Col Hameed Ali (rtd), told stakeholders at a forum organised by Customs commands in kano and Jigawa the need by the service to conduct a census on the factories.
He said that it was important for the nation to know the kind of industries operating within its borders and those coming up for necessary planning and decision making.
Ali said: “Since the de-excising of industries, Nigeria has lost statistics of the industries and factories operating in the country, their locations and the status of their capacity in terms of production.”

Today, I went to the beachfront with my children. Today, I went to the beach front with my kids. My developer is trying to convince me to move to .net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the costs. But he’s tryiong none the less. Today, I went to the beach front with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to her ear and screamed. First of all I want to say great blog! I had a quick question that I’d like to ask if you do not mind. I was interested to know how you center yourself and clear your head prior to writing. I’ve had a tough time clearing my mind in getting my ideas out. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely off topic but I had to tell someone!

My coder is trying to convince me to move to .net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the costs. But he’s tryiong none the less.
