Transcorp Hotels reports 7.5% increase in profit
Transcorp Hotels Plc has announced 7.5 per cent growth in profit after tax to N1.9 billion for the half year period ended June 30, 2016.
The group profit after tax had closed half year of 2015 at N1.76 billion.
Also, profit before tax stood at N2.75 billion, 11 per cent above N2.48 billion recorded in prior half year results.
From the company’s profit and loss figures, group revenue increased by 5.1 per cent from N7.2 billion to N7.6 billion.
Total assets in six months dropped by two per cent to N89.6 billion as at June 30, 2016 from N91 billion as at December 30, 2015.

Today, I went to the beachfront with my children. My developer is trying to convince me to move to .net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the expenses. But he’s tryiong none the less. Today, I went to the beachfront with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to her ear and screamed. Today, I went to the beach front with my kids.
