RIMSON to launch book on risk management
The Risk Managers Society of Nigeria (RIMSON), is set t launch a book on ‘Risk Management and Other Professions’ in Lagos next early October.
The book authored by Engineer Jacob Adeosun of RIMSON focuses on the pivotal place of risk management for the survival of government and enterprises.
A statement issued by Engineer Mike Udonquak of RIMSON, and made available to Business 247 News Online over the weekend, said Adeosun wrote the book in view of the need to further underscore the place of risk management in corporate institutions, as well as a prudential strategy for government in and out of economic recession.
The book presentation, which would attract the crème of the risk management profession and other critical stakeholders in the nation’s economy, would have the Director General of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN), Mr.Segun Ajayi-Kadri as the Chief Presenter, while the Executive Vice Chairman of Insurance Brokers of Nigeria Ltd, Chief Prosper Okpue would be the Chairman. It is expected that the Lagos State Governor, Mr.Akinwunmi Ambode would be the Special Guest of Honour.
