Investors gain N98bn as market rises by 1.11%

The Nigerian Stock Exchange All-Share Index (NSE ASI) and the Market Capitalization increased by 1.11 per cent, while the year-to-date return stood at -4.17 per cent as investors gained N98 billion.
The All-Share Index closed at 25,755.18 against the previous close of 25,471.69 while Market Capitalization closed at ₦8.912 trillion against previous close of ₦8.814 trillion.
Volume traded increased by 52.24 per cent from 158.705 million to 241.621 million, while the total value of stock traded increased by 32.17 per cent from ₦1.127 billion to ₦1.490 billion in 3,339 deals.
The Financial Services sector led the activity chart with 182.393 million shares exchanged for ₦0.844 billion. Services came next with 25.086 million shares traded for ₦0.039 billion, Consumer Goods, Oil And Gas, Conglomerates sectors followed in that order on the activity chart.
FBNH, Fidelitybk, UCAP, Zenithbank and Cileasing were the most active stocks by volume. Dangflour, 7UP, Learnafrca, Oando and Honyflour emerged the highest price gainers on the chart, while Conoil, Jaizbank, Maybaker, UCAP and Redstarex topped the losers chart.
