Investors gain N273bn as Nigerian bourse up by 2.95%

The Nigerian Stock Exchange All-Share Index (NSE ASI) and the Market Capitalization increased by 2.95 per cent, while the year-to-date return stood at 2.50 per cent.
The All-Share Index closed at 27,546.68 against the previous close of 26,756.21 while Market Capitalization closed at ₦9.522 trillion against previous close of ₦9.249 trillion.
Volume traded increased by 8.32 per cent from 539.233 million to 584.120 million, while the total value of stock traded increased by 100.70 per cent from ₦2.816 billion to ₦5.651 billion in 5,121 deals.
The Financial Services sector led the activity chart with 455.728 million shares exchanged for ₦3.076 billion. Consumer Goods came next with 71.483 million shares traded for ₦1.739 billion, Conglomerates, Oil And Gas, Industrial Goods sectors followed in that order on the activity chart.
UBA, Diamondbnk, Zenithbank, Flourmill and Access were the most active stocks by volume. Oando, NAHCO, Fidson, Diamondbnk and Transcorp emerged the highest price gainers on the chart, while Wapco, Airservice, Jaizbank, Caverton and Aglevent topped the losers chart.
