Market rises by 0.35% as investors gain N33bn

The Nigerian Stock Exchange All-Share Index (NSE ASI) and the Market Capitalization increased by 0.35 per cent, while the year-to-date return stood at 2.74 per cent.
The All-Share Index closed at 27,609.67 against the previous close of 27,513.69 while Market Capitalization closed at ₦9.544 trillion against previous close of ₦9.511 trillion.
Volume traded decreased by 15.17 per cent from 670.965 million to 569.176 million, while the total value of stock traded decreased by 15.54 per cent from ₦7.912 billion to ₦6.682 billion in 4,632 deals.
The Financial Services sector led the activity chart with 463.708 million shares exchanged for ₦3.555 billion. Oil And Gas came next with 61.46 million shares traded for ₦0.529 billion, Consumer Goods, Conglomerates, Industrial Goods sectors followed in that order on the activity chart.
Access, Oando, UBA, FBNH and Fidelitybk were the most active stocks by volume. Intbrew, Custodyins, FCMB, Transcorp and Afriprud emerged the highest price gainers on the chart, while Seplat, Airservice, Dangsugar, UAC-PROP and Jaizbank topped the losers chart.
