Market rises by 0.04% as investors gain N4bn on Friday

The Nigerian Stock Exchange All-Share Index (NSE ASI) and the Market Capitalization increased by 0.04 per cent, while the year-to-date return stood at 4.61 per cent.
The All Share Index closed at 28,113.38 against the previous close of 28,101.63 while Market Capitalization closed at ₦9.719 trillion against previous close of ₦9.715 trillion.
Volume traded decreased by 13.36 per cent from 353.144 million to 305.974 million, while the total value of stock traded decreased by 41.07 per cent from ₦9.162 billion to ₦5.399 billion in 4,100 deals.
The Financial Services sector led the activity chart with 218.971 million shares exchanged for ₦2.32 billion. Conglomerates came next with 34.151 million shares traded for ₦0.046 billion, Oil And Gas, Consumer Goods, Industrial Goods sectors followed in that order on the activity chart.
Transcorp, Zenithbank, UBA, FBNH and Guaranty were the most active stocks by volume. Maybaker, Seplat, Lawunion, Cileasing and NASCON emerged the highest price gainers on the chart, while Unitybnk, Diamondbnk, Sterlnbank, Transexpr and CCNN topped the losers chart.
