Nigerian bourse closes the week 1.03% up on Friday

The Nigerian Stock Exchange All-Share Index (NSE ASI) and the Market Capitalization increased by 1.03 per cent, while the year-to-date return stood at 23.82 per cent.
The All-Share Index closed at 33,276.68 against the previous close of 32,937.98 while Market Capitalization closed at ₦11.504 trillion against previous close of ₦11.387 trillion.
Volume traded increased by 29.81 per cent from 528.693 million to 686.304 million, while the total value of stock traded increased by 25.40 per cent from ₦4.841 billion to ₦6.070 billion in 6,785 deals.
The Financial Services sector led the activity chart with 582.299 million shares exchanged for ₦3.624 billion. Consumer Goods came next with 39.962 million shares traded for ₦0.493 billion, Conglomerates, Oil And Gas, Industrial Goods sectors followed in that order on the activity chart.
Access, FCMB, Diamondbnk, FBNH and Fidelitybk were the most active stocks by volume. Seplat, FO, Intbrew, Cadbury and Glaxosmith emerged the highest price gainers on the chart, while UPL, UAC-PROP, Custodyins, Trippleg and Flourmill topped the losers chart.
