Nigerian bourse down 0.49% on Thursday
All Share Index (NSEASI) and the Market Capitalization of the Nigerian Stock Exchange decreased by 0.49 per cent while the Year-to Date return stood at 13.29 per cent on Thursday.
The All-Share Index closed at 43,326.89 against the previous close of 43,538.16 while Market Capitalization closed at ₦15.548 trillion against previous close of ₦15.624 trillion.
Volume traded increased by 336.94 per cent from 508.299 million to 2220.962 million, while the total value of stock traded increased by 63.98 per cent from ₦4.571 billion to ₦7.495 billion in 5,468 deals.
Sterlnbank, Skyebank, Uba, Jaizbank and Fcmb were the most active stocks by volume for the day.
Unitybnk, Fo, Royalex, Sterlnbank and Cadbury emerged the highest price gainers on the chart, while Skyebank, Hmarkins, Nestle, Diamondbnk and Aiico topped the losers chart.
The Financial Services sector led the activity chart with 2163.609 million shares exchanged for ₦6.03 billion.
Consumer Goods came next with 21.151 million shares traded for ₦0.908 billion, Conglomerates, Services, Oil And Gas sectors followed in that order on the activity chart.
