COVID-19: Lagos confirms 13 new cases  

Lagos State Government has confirmed 13 new cases of coronavirus in the state.

Prof. Akin Abayomi, the State Commissioner for Health, made this known on his Twitter handle

The National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Monday night had confirmed 20 new cases.

“Twenty new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria; 13 in Lagos, 4 in FCT, 2 in Kaduna and 1 in Oyo State

There are 131 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria

However, Abayomi on Tuesday said eight patients have so far recovered from the diseases in the State.

“Lagos confirms 13 new cases of #COVID19 on 30th March, 2020.

With the13 new cases, Lagos now has 81 reported cases of #COVID19.

“8 of the 81 patients have fully recovered and have been discharged. Please #StayHome #StaySafe #ForAGreaterLagos.” he added.
