Lagos State House of Assembly has directed its members to undergo a COVID-19 test following the death of a member, Tunde Braimoh.
Temitope Adewale, representing Ifako Ijaiye Constituency I, made the disclosure in a statement in Lagos on Tuesday.
Adewale is the Chairman, House Committee on Transportation.
The lawmaker said he had been tested for COVID-19.
“I submitted myself for the COVID-19 test, and I have gotten my result. The test result came out negative.”
He said it was the collective responsibility of everyone to be more careful and observe all the stipulated rules.
