BUK announces resumption day

The authorities of Bayero University, Kano on Monday announced that the institution will commence academic activities on Monday, 24th October.

A statement signed by Lamara Garba, Deputy Registrar, Public Affairs of the university on behalf of the Registrar said the decision was reached after the management meeting that held last Thursday, 13th October.

Lamara Garcia’s statement reads in part “Following the suspension of the strike action by the Academic staff union, the management of Bayero University Kano, after its meeting on Thursday 13th October 2022 wishes to announce that the University will resume normal academic activities effective Monday, 24th October, 2022.”

The Deputy Registrar, Public Affairs said “Consequently, students are to resume academic activities with effect from Monday, 24th October 2022.”
