Apostle Suleman alleges cover up after police shot captured suspected assassin dead
Apostle Johnson Suleman has alleged foul play by the police after one of the gunmen who opened fire on him was quickly shot to death.
Suleman escaped death by the whiskers when suspected assassins opened fire on his convoy in Auchi, Edo State on Friday.
Suleman, who is the General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministry International, escaped death by the whiskers when suspected assassins opened fire on his convoy in Auchi, Edo State. Seven of his aides including four police escorts were gunned down in the attack.
Sharing a video of a dead man lying in a car in a tweet on Friday night, Suleman accused Nigeria police of killing one of his assailants caught to “cover up.”
“Lies. They weren’t kidnappers. He was caught and handed over and the police killed him immediately,” Suleman said.
“Why? Why killing him on the spot?. Who is trying to cover up traces?” The cleric asked.

Suleman’s lawyer, Abdul Mahmud, in several updates on the incident on Twitter stated that brave vigilantes operating in the area apprehended one of the assailants “interrogated and extracted valuable information from him before handing him over to the DPO Auchi who was called to effect formal arrest.
“Then, the most shocking thing happened…”
On arrival at the scene, the DPO looked at the young man and asked him: “Are you a kidnapper?”
“Yes, I am”, the kidnapper answer.
The DPO pulled his gun and shot him.
