Volume of shares traded on NSE rises by 1.42% to 388.467 million on Friday

The Nigerian Stock Exchange All-Share Index (NSE ASI) and the Market Capitalization increased by 0.02 per cent, while the year-to-date return stood at -4.15 per cent.
The All-Share Index closed at 25,758.51 against the previous close of 25,753.00 while Market Capitalization closed at ₦8.913 trillion against previous close of ₦8.911 trillion.
Volume traded decreased by 1.42 per cent from 371.760 million to 366.467 million, while the total value of stock traded increased by 2.47 per cent from ₦2.807 billion to ₦2.876 billion in 3,598 deals
The Financial Services sector led the activity chart with 316.466 million shares exchanged for₦ 1.877 billion. Consumer Goods came next with 16.378 million shares traded for ₦0.722 billion, Conglomerates, Services, Oil and Gas sectors followed in that order on the activity chart.
Access, Fidelitybk, Zenithbank, Fbnh and Diamondbnk were the most active stocks by volume. Nascon, Npfmcrfbk, Livestock, Stanbic and Wapco emerged the highest price gainers on the chart, while Fbnh, Jberger, Fcmb, Learnafrca and Continsure topped the losers chart.
