Market rises by 0.19% as investors gain N19bn

The Nigerian Stock Exchange All-Share Index (NSE ASI) and the Market Capitalization increased by 0.19 per cent while the year-to-date return stood at -2.63 per cent on Thursday as investors gained N18bn
The All-Share Index closed at 26,166.80 against the previous close of 26,116.79 while Market Capitalization closed at ₦9.045 trillion against previous close of ₦9.027 trillion.
Volume traded decreased by 3.34 per cent from 264.493 million to 255.648 million, while the total value of stock traded decreased by 15.32 per cent from ₦2.896 billion to ₦2.453 billion in 5,106 deals.
The Financial Services sector led the activity chart with 191.74 million shares exchanged for ₦1.584 billion. Services came next with 25.423 million shares traded for ₦0.08 billion, Conglomerates, Consumer Goods, Oil And Gas sectors followed in that order on the activity chart.
Zenithbank, FBNH, UBA, Guaranty and Airservice were the most active stocks by volume. Intbrew, Fidson, NAHCO, Continsure and UAC-PROP emerged the highest price gainers on the chart, while Stanbic, Unitybnk, Jaizbank, Mansard and Honyflour topped the losers chart.
