Investors on NSE gain N92bn on Thursday

The Nigerian bourse has continued its positive run as the market All-Share Index (NSE ASI) and the Market Capitalization increased by 0.80 per cent, while the year-to-date return stood at 23.71 per cent as investors on The Exchange gained N92 billion.
The All-Share Index closed at 33,246.91 against the previous close of 32,981.63 while Market Capitalization closed at ₦11.459 trillion against previous close of ₦11.367 trillion.
Volume traded increased by 6.65 per cent from 270.855 million to 288.858 million, while the total value of stock traded increased by 37.95 per cent from ₦2.769 billion to ₦3.820 billion in 3,631 deals.
The Financial Services sector led the activity chart with 254.938 million shares exchanged for ₦2.674 billion. Consumer Goods came next with 11.852 million shares traded for ₦0.629 billion, Conglomerates, Industrial Goods, Oil And Gas sectors followed in that order on the activity chart.
UBA, Guaranty, Nigerins, Zenithbank and Access were the most active stocks by volume. Mobil, FO, Cadbury, Custodyins and Guinness emerged the highest price gainers on the chart, while Champion, Firstalum, NCR, Bocgas and Linkassure topped the losers chart.
