Omokri to Buhari: Explain why Yusuf, Sarah shunned NYSC

Reno Omokri, ex-aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan has called on Nigerians to compel President Muhammadu Buhari to explain why his children, Sarah and Yusuf, have not been enrolled for the compulsory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme.

He said this while reacting to a report claiming that Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun, forged her NYSC certificate.

Omokri also blamed the government for the death serving corps member, Ikechi Igwetu, who was shot dead by a policeman in Abuja during the week.

Omokri said in his tweets on Saturday, “See how they killed Corper Ikechi Igwetu a day to her passing out. Look at the way the Buhari government abandoned NYSC Corp members serving in Plateau.

“Yet, they turn around to give high profile jobs to their cronies who don’t serve but know how to forge exemption certificates!

“Why focus only on @HMKemiAdeosun alone? Did Zahra Buhari do her mandatory NYSC before being married off?

“Has power bike riding Yusuf Buhari served as a youth corper? Is NYSC, under Buhari, meant for the masses alone? It is a question Nigeria must answer with their votes in 2019?”, he said.
