
A former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Chief Ojo Madueke, is dead.
An online report has it that he collapsed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja shortly after arriving from the United States of America (USA) where he had gone to attend graduation ceremony of a relative.
Madueke was a prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), he was also a Minister of Transport. He was born May 6, 1945 in Abia State.
Madueke was appointed Minister of Culture and Tourism by former President Olusegun Obasanjo in 1999. He later became Minister of Transport in 2001.
He was appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs on July 26, 2007 by late President Umaru Yar’Adua. cheiftain
