Market maintains positive rally as investors gain N17bn
Market continued its positive ride on Wednesday on the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) as the All-Share Index (ASI) and Market Capitalisation which opened the day trading at 27,389.02 basis points and N9.406 trillion respectively closed at 27,437.25 basis points and N9.423 trillion, translating to a marginal gain of N17 billion for investors.
The market transacted 297.476 million shares valued at N2.289 billion in 3,438 deals.
The topmost advancer for the day was TOTAL which moved from N248.00 per share to close at N251 having added N3.00 to its opening value. NESTLE added N 1.01 to N824.00, its opening value and ended the day at N825.01 per share; ETI followed with per share gain of N0.92 and rose from its opening value of N10.56 to close at N11.48; GUARANTY opened the day trading at N24.59 and closed at N25.00 as it added N0.41 per share while WAPCO moved from N55.00 to close at N55.3 as it gained N0.3 per share
On the other hand, INTBREW led the decliners for the day as it was marked down by N1.00 and moved down from N20.00 to close at N19.00; CCNN which opened at N6.60 closed at N6.01 per share as it was marked down by N0.59; ZENITHBANK began the day trading at N15.25 and closed at N15.00 having been marked down by N0.25 per share; UACN recorded per share loss of N0.2 to close at N19.00 from its opening value of N19.2; IKEJAHOTEL which opened the day transactions at N1.80 per share closed at N1.71 as it was marked down by N0.09 per share.
The most traded stock of the day was ACCESS which was responsible for 65.988 million shares valued at N362.269 million; UBA traded 57.058 million shares with the attached value of N248.244 million; GUARANTY traded 32.263 million shares at N825.310 million; DIAMONDBNK traded 32.032 million shares at N35.293 million while FBNH traded 26.843 million shares in N83.776 million.

Hi there just wanted to give you a brief heads up and let you know a few of the images aren’t loading properly. I’m not sure why but I think its a linking issue. I’ve tried it in two different web browsers and both show the same outcome.
Today, I went to the beach with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to her ear and screamed.
