FG releases admission list of federal unity colleges

Federal Government has released the list of successful candidates for admission into Federal Unity Colleges throughout the federation for the 2016/2017 academic session.

A statement on today by the Federal Ministry of Education said the Minister of Education, Malam Adamu Adamu approved the release of the list

According to Ben Bem Goong, the Deputy Director (Press) in the press statement quoted the minister saying that the list could be accessed online via www.fmeinterviewtest.com adding that candidates who wrote the National Common Entrance Examination should check their names on the website.

Analysis of the results shows that out of 89,231 candidates who took part in the examination, 46,869 met the cut off mark.

The release revealed that 24,422 candidates among those who met the cut off mark had been offered admission into various colleges.

He said Federal Government Girls’ College Bwari, Owerri and Federal Government College, Enugu topped the list of admission with a total of 400 students each.

The release also revealed that Federal Science and Technical College, Oturkpo and Federal Government Girls’ College, Tambuwal, Sokoto State, had the least number with 120 candidates each.

The resumption date, according to the minister, for all unity schools is September 19, 2016.
