CICAN convenes National Industrial Summit
All is now set for the 2016 Commerce & Industry Correspondents Association of Nigeria, CICAN, Crystal Excellence Summit, an annual event organised to reward outstanding institutions and individuals for their creativity and positive contributions to industrial growth and societal development.
This year’s event, which is the 6th, will attract participants from the public and private sectors of the economy. Invited dignitaries who have already confirmed their attendance include The Honourable Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr. Okechukwu Enelamah, and the President Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (chairman of the occasion), Dr. Frank Jacob among others.
National Chairman of CICAN, Mr Toba Agboola said the association’s award committee has traversed the nook and crannies of the country to select deserving institutions and individuals who have made great impact in the nation’s economy to be rewarded with the highly revered “Crystal Excellency Award” at the summit.
Past awardees include former Minister of Industry, Trade & Investment, Dr. Olusegun Aganga, Dangote Group, Oando Group, Phoenix Mills Ltd., Indomie, Standard Organisation of Nigeria(SON), BUA groups and Olofa of Ofaland among other distinguished personalities.
The Summit will commence by 2pm on Thursday October, 13, 2016 at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI) Exhibition Center, Marwa Garden opposite Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, near Alausa Secretariat, Ikeja, Lagos.
