Kogi: Gov Bello’s blueprint’ll bring turnaround, says Chief of Staff
Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, has prepared his blueprint in such a way that it would turn the state around for the overall interest of the people, his Chief of Staff, Edward Onoja has said
According to him, the governor has outlined his development plans for the state that would bring about rapid progress in the areas of security, road construction, healthcare delivery, education, agriculture and job creation.
Onoja stated these in Lokoja, as part of activities marking the 56th Independence Day celebration of Nigeria.
He said the state would soon be haven for investors around the world, especially in agriculture and mining which would “create employments opportunities for the people in the state thereby, reducing crime rate.”
The CoS restated the administration’s commitments to improve security situation in the state “which is one of the fundamental basic prerequisite for investors around the world.”
He commended the governor for his doggedness and commitment in tackling the security situation in the state.
While calling on the pepple of the state to give greater support to the present administration in the State, Onoja described Bello as a detribalised and compassionate leader who cares for all, irrespective of religion and ethnic background.
He advised the people to shun rumour mongering and always consult the government officials for clarification.
Governor Bello, he said, is operating an open door policy since he derived his legitimacy from the people, adding that every government has its opposition.
He commended the people of the state for their support and understanding towards the government saying the governor will not let them down.
