Ships to berth with food, fuel at Lagos Port

Twenty seven ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected to arrive Lagos Port Complex and Tin-Can Island ports in Lagos between Monday, 7th and 23rd November, 2016.

Eight of the vessels would berth with petro, diesel and aviation fuel.

According to the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA)’s  shipping position other ships expected would berth with  buck wheat, bulk sugar, general cargoes, empty containers, base oil, slag, bulk fertiliser, base oil, containers and petrol.

Already, three ships have arrived the ports and moored to discharge bulk fertiliser, bulk sugar and petrol.

Also, two of the ships would berth at the Apapa Bulk Terminal (ABTL) and Greenview Development Nigeria Limited (GDNL) with 70,386 metric tons of wheat. The vessels are MV Nord Manatee with 29,386.9 metric tons with 48,000 metric tons and MV Atlantic Eagle.

MV Nord will berth at Greenview Development Nigeria Limited (GDNL) while the other vessel will berth at ABTL.
