Market rises by 0.35%

The Nigerian Stock Exchange All Share Index (NSE ASI) and the Market Capitalization increased by 0.35 per cent, while the Year-to-Date return stood at -6.49 per cent.

The All Share Index closed at 26,782.93 against the previous close of 26,688.25 while Market Capitalization closed at ₦9.215 trillion against previous close of ₦9.183 trillion.

Volume traded decreased by 10.89% from 131.741 million to 117.401 million, while the total value of stock traded decreased by 29.66% from ₦1.248 billion to ₦0.878 billion in 2,392 deals.

The Financial Services sector led the activity chart with 94.685 million shares exchanged for ₦0.597 billion. Consumer Goods came next with 6.866 million shares traded for ₦0.122 billion, Conglomerates, Oil And Gas, Services sectors followed in that order on the activity chart.

FCMB, Zenithbank, FBNH, Guaranty and Diamondbnk were the most active stocks by volume. NAHCO, Lawunion, AIICO, Guaranty and Livestock emerged the highest price gainers on the chart, while FO, Unitybnk, Champion, Airservice and Omosavbnk topped the losers chart.
