The Nigerian Stock Exchange All Share Index (NSE ASI) and the Market Capitalization decreased by 0.05 per cent, while the Year-to-Date return stood at -2.44 per cent.
The All-Share Index closed at 26,217.54 against the previous close of 26,231.37 while Market Capitalization closed at ₦9.021 trillion against previous close of ₦9.026 trillion.
Volume traded decreased by 17.89 per cent from 228.598 million to 187.704 million, while the total value of stock traded increased by 304.33 per cent from ₦2.579 billion to ₦10.428 billion in 3,055 deals.
The Financial Services sector led the activity chart with 129.596 million shares exchanged for ₦0.849 billion.
Oil And Gas came next with 26.175 million shares traded for ₦8.69 billion, Conglomerates, Consumer Goods, Healthcare sectors followed in that order on the activity chart.
Seplat, Ucap, Transcorp, Fbnh and Guaranty were the most active stocks by volume. Ccnn, Uacn, Npfmcrfbk, Afriprud and Seplat emerged the highest price gainers on the chart, while 7Up, Custodyins, Ncr, Nahco and Sterlnbank topped the losers chart.
