Investors lose N47bn in Friday trading on NSE
The Nigerian Stock Exchange All-Share Index (NSE ASI) and the Market Capitalization decreased by 0.52 per cent while the Year-to-Date return stood at -3.99 per cent.
The All-Share Index closed at 25,802.54 against the previous close of 25,936.24 while Market Capitalization closed at ₦8.892 trillion against previous close of ₦8.939 trillion.
Volume traded decreased by 59.20 per cent from 354.503 million to 144.627 million, while the total value of stock traded decreased by 28.77 per cent from ₦1.718 billion to ₦1.224 billion in 2,350 deals.
The Financial Services sector led the activity chart with 124.75 million shares exchanged for ₦0.711 billion. Agriculture came next with 5.695 million shares traded for ₦0.221 billion, Conglomerates, Oil And Gas, Consumer Goods sectors followed in that order on the activity chart.
Fbnh, Staco, Guaranty, Diamondbnk and Fidelitybk were the most active stocks by volume. Guinness, Npfmcrfbk, Sterlnbank, Eti and Ucap emerged the highest price gainers on the chart, while Mansard, Uac-Prop, Uacn, Custodyins and Unitybnk topped the losers chart.
