Equities market record marginal rise of 0.05%
The Nigerian Stock Exchange All-Share Index (NSE ASI) and the Market Capitalization increased by 0.05, while the Year-to-Date return stood at-5.26 per cent.
The All-Share Index closed at 25,460.45 against the previous close of 25,446.66 while Market Capitalization closed at ₦8.775 trillion against previous close of ₦8.770 trillion.
Volume traded increased by 67.89 per cent from
207.175 million to 347.824 million, while the total value of stock traded decreased by 10.32 per cent from ₦1.577 billion to ₦1.414 billion in 2,934 deals.
The Financial Services sector led the activity chart with 313.563 million shares exchanged for ₦0.78 billion.
Conglomerates came next with 14.65 million shares traded for ₦0.021 billion, Agriculture, Oil and Gas, Consumer Goods sectors followed in that order on the activity chart iico, Diamondbnk, Staco, Zenithbank and Afrinsure were the most active stocks by volume.
Neimeth,Airservice, Vitafoam, Caverton and Diamondbnk emerged the highest price gainers on the chart, while Wapco, Aglevent, Uac-Prop, Ucap and Fbnh topped the losers chart.
