Market firms up by 0.07%

The Nigerian Stock Exchange All-Share Index (NSE ASI) and the Market Capitalization increased by 0.07 per cent while the Year-to-Date return stood at -5.71 per cent.

The All-Share Index closed at 25,340.02 against the previous close of 25,322.30 while Market Capitalization closed at ₦8.770 trillion against previous close of ₦8.764 trillion.

Volume traded increased by 40.84 per cent from 143.233 million to 201.727 million, while the total value of stock traded increased by 66.99 per cent from ₦1.549 billion to ₦2.587 billion in 2,604 deals.

The Financial Services sector led the activity chart with 170.535 million shares exchanged for ₦0.845 billion. Agriculture came next with 7.965 million shares traded for ₦0.334 billion, Conglomerates, Oil and Gas, Services sectors followed in that order on the activity chart.

UBN, Fidelitybk, Access, Zenithbank and Diamondbnk were the most active stocks by volume. Airservice, Access, Betaglas, Jaizbank and Vitafoam emerged the highest price gainers on the chart, while UAC-PROP, Livestock, NB, Sterlnbank and Fidelitybk topped the losers chart.
