Buhari couldn’t attend FEC meeting again
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Wednesday presided over the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting at the State House Abuja as President Mohammadu Buhari , for the fourth time in a row, failed to attend the all-important meeting.
The continuous absence of the President at the all-important meeting of the state has escalated concerns about the state of health of the nation’s number one citizen as there is no clear explanation as what ailment the President is afflicted with
However, today’s meeting makes it the third time Osinbajo will be presiding over FEC meeting since President Muhammadu Buhari returned from medical vacation in the United Kingdom on the 10th of March.
The Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed, had told reporters last Wednesday that Buhari was resting and working at home.
Many ministers were in attendance during opening session of the meeting. The Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari, was also in attendance.
The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Mohammed Bello and the Minister of Budget and National Planning, Udoma Udo Udoma, offered the Muslim and Christian prayers, respectively.
