The All Share Index closed at 29,064.52 against the previous close of 28,467.61 while Market Capitalization closed at ₦10.048 trillion against previous close of ₦9.841 trillion. Volume traded increased by 73.19 per cent from 418.936 million to 725.543 million, while the total value of stock traded increased by 15.18 per cent from ₦4.962 billion to ₦5.715 billion in 4,435 deals.
The Financial Services sector led the activity chart with 648.846 million shares exchanged for ₦4.983 billion. Construction/Real Estate came next with 26.971 million shares traded for ₦0.059 billion, Consumer Goods, Conglomerates, Oil And Gas sectors followed in that order on the activity chart.
Diamondbnk, Access, Guaranty, UBA and Zenithbank were the most active stocks by volume. FBNH, Oando, Guaranty, ETI and Zenithbank emerged the highest price gainers on the chart, while Mobil, Learnafrca, NAHCO, Vitafoam and Afrpaints topped the losers chart.
