Nigerian bourse rises by 3.49% and investors gain N365bn

The Nigerian Stock Exchange All-Share Index (NSE ASI) and the Market Capitalization increased by 3.49 per cent, while the year-to-date return stood at 16.73 percent.
The All-Share Index closed at 31,371.63 against the previous close of 30,314.14 while Market Capitalization closed at ₦10.845 trillion against previous close of ₦10.480 trillion.
Volume traded increased by 63.07 per cent from 434.433 million to 708.411 million, while the total value of stock traded increased by 78.42 per cent from ₦4.627 billion to ₦8.256 billion in 6,039 deals.
The Financial Services sector led the activity chart with 628.739 million shares exchanged for ₦4.376 billion. Conglomerates came next with 30.325 million shares traded for ₦0.047 billion, Consumer Goods, Industrial Goods, Oil And Gas sectors followed in that order on the activity chart.
Diamondbnk, FBNH, UBA, Access and FCMB were the most active stocks by volume. CAP, Conoil, FBNH, Cadbury and Learnafrca emerged the highest price gainers on the chart, while Lawunion, UPL, Cileasing, Linkassure and Mobil topped the losers chart.
