Nigerian bourse rises further by 0.23% Wednesday
The Nigerian Stock Exchange All-Share Index (NSE ASI) and the Market Capitalization increased by 0.23 per cent, while the year-to-date return stood at 24.71 per cent.
The All-Share Index closed at 33,514.93 against the previous close of 33,436.61 while Market Capitalization closed at ₦11.551 trillion against previous close of ₦11.524 trillion.
Volume traded decreased by 86.21 per cent from 2403.647 million to 331.431 million, while the total value of stock traded decreased by 84.99 per cent from ₦21.613 billion to ₦3.245 billion in 4,055 deals.
The Financial Services sector led the activity chart with 273.584 million shares exchanged for ₦1.995 billion. Conglomerates came next with 20.653 million shares traded for ₦0.031 billion, Consumer Goods, Oil And Gas, Services sectors followed in that order on the activity chart.
Zenithbank, UBA, FBNH, Custodyins and NEM were the most active stocks by volume. Transcorp, PZ, Skyebank, Oando and Guinness emerged the highest price gainers on the chart, while Presco, MRS, Jaizbank, Livestock and Mansard topped the losers chart.
