Nigerian bourse adds 0.05% on Thursday
The Nigerian Stock Exchange All-Share Index (NSE ASI) and the Market Capitalization decreased by 0.05 per cent while the year-to-date return stood at 30.94 per cent.
The All-Share Index closed at 35,188.97 against the previous close of 35,207.89 while Market Capitalization closed at ₦12.130 trillion against previous close of ₦12.137 trillion.
Volume traded increased by 212.50% from 137.351 million to 429.224 million, while the total value of stock traded increased by 665.42% from ₦1.134 billion to ₦8.680 billion in 3,271 deals.
The Financial Services sector led the activity chart with 384.54 million shares exchanged for ₦8.011 billion. Industrial Goods came next with 19.387 million shares traded for ₦0.06 billion, Conglomerates, Consumer Goods, Oil And Gas sectors followed in that order on the activity chart.
Guaranty, Access, Jaizbank, FCMB and Zenithbank were the most active stocks by volume. Neimeth, NEM, FBNH, Skyebank and NB emerged the highest price gainers on the chart, while AIICO, Champion, Caverton, Okomuoil and Vitafoam topped the losers chart.
