Adeboye, Oyedepo, others gather on Tuesday to intercede for Nigeria
Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) and many other Christian leaders will on Tuesday, February 13, meet to intercede over the situation of things in Nigeria.
The special intercession programme is expected to have over 30 Christian denominations in attendance.
In a notice circulated at the weekend, the gathering will hold at the Old Arena, Redemption Camp, KM 46, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Ogun State
Adeboye will lead other top clerics including Bishop David Oyedepo of the Living Faith Ministries, Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo of the Kingsway International Christian Centre, KICC, in the programme.
The notice disclosed that the agenda is to pray about killings, cultism, corruption, ritualism, bloodshed, kidnapping and unemployment in the country.
It added that the intercession will last three hours – 10 am to 1 pm.
It would be recalled that last weekend, Adeboye lamented the incessant killings in Nigeria.
Responding to those who have accused him of being silent on the situation, Daddy GO as fondly called said: “I am a Christian and I belong to the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) which has a President. Whatever the President says is what I say.
“I am also a Pentecostal and I belong to the Pentecostal Association of Nigeria (PFN); whatever the President says is what I say. That is how to be under authority.”
