Osun won’t regret electing Akinbade says Awolu

A prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from Boripe Local Government area of Osun State, Alhaji Adeniyi Awolu, has assured that the people of the state would not regret electing Alhaji Fatai Akinbade as the governor of the state after Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola must have exited.

Specifically, Awolu said he premised his conviction on Akinbade’s political background, experience and understanding of workings of government.

He made these known in Iragbaji,Boripe Local Government headquarters area of the state when the former Secretary to the State Government visited party members and leaders with a view to getting their support at the coming party primary.

“The truth is; if we vote Akinbade as our next governor, you can’t regret it. This is because,he is humble, accessible mature and blessed with experience. He understands the workings of government. I know Akinbade as the best aspirant and as such,he deserves our support” Awolu stressed.

All those who spoke, commended him for his sincerity of purpose and doggedness all these years, urging him to ensure equity if given the mandate.

Those present include the local party Chairman,  Deacon Owolabi,Alhaji. Adeniyi Awolu.,Chief Samson Adeojo Hon. Philip adeniran. Alh. Akinoa f. O., Hon. Mudadiru Oladao. Hon. Adesina Asindemade. Hon. Kola adebayo. Hon Bayo Adedoja, Alfa Fasansi. Hon elija alingo. Azeez Mufutau. Hon. Jimoh Lawal, Hon. Bimbo Oyedele. Hon Mudasiru Olamakin. Hon. Bimbo Ada. Hon kamoru akano  Hon segun ilori. Hon. Ademola oyeleke and all ward chairmen, executives.

Similarly in Ikirun, the Ifelodun Local Government, leaders and members of the party poured encomiums on Akinbade, describing him as the best among those currently itching to assume mantle of leadership in the state after Aregbesola.

Therefore, they charged delegates to shun inducement by ensuring that they vote for the emergence of the former SSG as the party’s candidate that would fly the party’s flag at the coming polls.

In the same vein, the party members and leaders, commended the governorships hopeful for not engaging in muddling and character assassination which are the hallmarks of some aspirants

Speaking separately in the two local governments, Akinbade assured that the state would be taken to a greater height.

“The cardinal programmes I have in stock, are the ones capable of turning around the fortune of the state and its people, for good. All I need is your valued support and together, we shall our dreamed Osun to its lofty heights” he said
