Manchester United tackles Barcelona in UEFA Champions League quarter-final
Lionel Messi will lead his Barcelona teammates to Old Trafford to face Manchester United in the Champions League quarterfinals.
Man United was drawn Friday to face the five-time champions, who beat the English club in the 2009 and 2011 finals. Messi scored in each of those matches.
Still, United beat Barcelona in the 2008 semifinals before winning its third title, and it was at Camp Nou that current manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer scored the stoppage-time winning goal in the 1999 final, against Bayern Munich. Four English teams reached the last eight for the first time in 10 years, and two will meet next month.
