AFCON 2019:  Benin Republic advance to quarter-finals

The Squirrels of Benin Republic advance to the quarter-finals of AFCON 2019, their best-ever success, after a 4-1 defeat of the Atlas Lions of Morocco in the competition’s first Round of 16 match.

Both sides had finished 1-1 after 120 minutes of play for the Squirrels to emerge winner via penalty shootout.
