A total of 13, 000 applicants have applied for recruitment into the Western Nigeria Security Network also known Operation Amotekun Corps in Osun State.
The Director-General, Amotekun Corps in the state, Comrade Amitolu Shittu, disclosed this on Wednesday.
Governor Adegboyega Oyetola had on Monday, June 15, directed that recruitment into the Amotekun Corps should commence.
The time limit for application which lapsed last Friday was later extended till Tuesday.
