COVID-19:  Nigeria records new 125 cases, total now 54,588

Nigeria has recorded 125 new cases of COVID-19, bringing to 54,588 the number of confirmed cases in the country.

Announcing this Thursday, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said Lagos recorded 42 new cases; Federal Capital Territory (FCT), 25; Katsina, 14; Kaduna, 11; Kwara, eight; Ondo, seven; Delta, four; Anambra and Oyo, three each; Edo, Ogun, and Osun, two; while Cross River recorded one case.

It said: “Nigeria has so far recorded 54,588 confirmed cases of COVID-19. 42,627 patients have been discharged, while 1,048 persons have died.”
