Barely two weeks after in Iju-Ishaga area of Lagos which left about 40 people injured and buildings destroyed and many vehicles destroyed, another explosion in a gas plant at Baruwa, Ipaja, has caused a fire outbreak in Lagos.
“It is a gas plant explosion and the fire extending to buildings around,” an eyewitness confirmed to SaharaReporters.
As was with the Iju—Ishaga incident, the gas plant was situated in a densely populated area.
At the time of filling this report, details of the casualty and the extent of the damaged to property cannot be confirmed.
