Breaking: Gunmen abduct wife of Akeredolu’s CoS

Suspected kidnappers have abducted wife of the Chief of Staff (CoS) to Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, Mr Olugbenga Ale.

This is coming barely 24 hours after kidnappers killed traditional ruler of Ifon, Oba Isreal Adeusi, the Olufon of Ifon.

Ale’s wife was reportedly kidnapped at Owena area of the state on Thursday night.

It was learnt that the kidnappers were yet to make demand for ransom payment.

Ondo Police spokesman,Tee-Leo Ikoro, said he was yet to be briefed on the incident.

Kidnappings and other crimes have been on the increase since the country was grounded by the #ENDSARS protest.
